How can I add providers to the Favorite Providers section?

You can add providers to your Favorite Providers section in two ways:

1. You can search for a healthcare provider using the provider search tool. Within the Providers section on the My Health Summary Information page, click the Select and Add Favorite Providers button. From the Favorite Providers page, click the Add a Provider button. You will be prompted to select a specific provider type (Physicians, Physician groups and Other Healthcare Professionals, Hospitals, or Nursing Homes, or Home Health Agencies, or Dialysis Facilities) to search for. Then click the Search Providers button.

 

A pop-up window will open with additional options to search by location or provider name. Once you have found the provider you were looking for, you have the option to click the Update Providers List button or click the Search for More Providers button. Your new item will be added to the Favorite Providers section on MyMedicare.gov.

 

2. If you do not find the provider you were looking for using the available search tools, you can enter the provider's information manually. On the Provider's pop-up window's search results page, click the Add a Provider to My Favorites Manually button. Instead of selecting an existing item from the list, you will be prompted to enter the provider's information manually. When finished entering the data, click the Add button to save the provider to the Favorite Providers list.
